Multilingual Disaster Prevention Video “It's an earthquake! What should I do?”

This is an informative disaster preparedness video targeted at foreign residents that was made based on lessons learned from the Great East Japan Earthquake. The video was made by the Sendai International Relations Association (SIRA) along with the cooperation of foreign exchange students in Sendai. The most important points of disaster preparation for future earthquakes are covered with easy to understand instructions. This program is available online via YouTube at the “SIRA Channel”.

Non-Japanese residents appear as guests and talk about their experiences with earthquakes and how they prepare for future earthquakes. This radio program provides vital information for disaster prevention in foreign languages.

This program is broadcasted on the second Sunday of every month on Date fm 77.1 MHz “SUNDAY MORNING WAVE” (Every Sunday from 8:25 a.m. to 8:55 a.m.).
