Basic Fee for Water and Sewage Service Can be Calculated on a Per Diem Basis

When you start using the water and sewage service or stop using the service due to moving or other reasons, a basic fee was charged monthly regardless of the number of days used. However, starting from October 1, 2017, we will calculate the basic fee for water and sewage service on a per diem basis.

  • When you start using the service (this calculation applies from October 1)
The basic fee is calculated based on the number of days used from the day you start use of the service to the primary meter-reading day.
  • When you stop using the service (this calculation applies on the following day of the primary meter-reading day after October 1)
The basic fee is calculated based on the number of days used until the day you stop use of the service.
  • Meter-reading day
Meter-reading day varies depending on areas, so please check your meter-reading day on the “Notice of Your Water Consumption” distributed to your home after every meter-reading.
