Rules for Waste Disposal

We are all citizens of Sendai City. Let’s follow the rules!

• Sort waste by type.
• Dispose of waste according to city rules.
• Dispose of waste at designated collection points.
• Put out waste by 8:30 on the morning of the collection day.

Waste and Recyclables Sorting Smartphone App & Web App  “threeR“ 

 “threeR” is a free smartphone & Web app with functions to search for waste sorting methods and informs you of collection dates for recyclables and waste.
The Sendai version app can be used in both Japanese and English free of charge.

Major Functions

 

• Calendar: Check waste and recyclables collection days for the district you live in.
• Guide for putting out waste and recyclables: A guide on how waste is collected.
• Searching categories of waste and recyclables: You can search categories by the application when you are unsure about how the item can be put out.
• FAQ: FAQ concerning waste reduction and recycling are listed.
